Once upon a time, in a galaxy far.. far..away... *needle scratches* Anne, who was born Anne Smith as the first daughter of a first daughter, was born in Louisville, KY.  Since that time she has lived in various and sundry states across the nation.  More recently she managed to escape the black and white land of Kansas, to relocate here in Memphis with her beloved groom of 17 years, Phil.  (Both Anne and Phil are relieved to know that there are real colors in the world once you cross that state line...)  Of note are her two lovely and equally capricious daughters, Beth - 24 and Marissa - 19 who have been left back in Kansas in a search for Toto or the Tin Man. Recently she added a new member to the family, Lady Awen of Blackmore, a miniature wire-hair dachshund whose coat is best described as the color of old copper pennies, sprinkled with cocoa dust.

Having always been fond of words like the literary AnnE of Green Gables since First Grade, she soon learned the fine art of devouring books of all genres and hasn't stopped consuming them since that time.  This love of reading led to reviewing books for The Old Book Barn Gazette newsletter run by Tanzey Cutter in Topeka, KS.  This later turned into gigs for Thebestreviews.com and Freshfiction.com. Her friends could be found laughing when Anne was heard to exclaim with eyes full of awe filled (as opposed to awful) tears, "OMG they are giving me free pre-books AND asking my opinion!"

One of Anne's greatest dreams is to do nothing more than write on the thousands of ideas she has festering in folders on her computer, written abstractly on the sides of boxes and quite possibly shaved into the fur of their 18-years-old cat, Excalibur.  Phil has decreed that she is allowed to stay home to write after almost 20 years of being a Paralegal/Office Manager and has also signed her up for a course with the Institute of Children's Literature.  Looking for a group of kindred spirits and having found them here at the great WC, she hopes to learn to hone her writing skills, demystify the whole publishing process and create actual books for other like-minded folk.  However, Anne's Muse and love of writing means she will keep on keepin' on as she has no choice.  Anne has completed a couple of children's stories, part of a mystery, most of an adult fairy tale etc.  Her first story completed is entitled "Wendy the Clumsy Little Angel."  She is prone to spontaneous bursts of sarcasm, double entendres and creative craziness without warning.

Aaron Hebewaybe (pronounced Heeb-way-bob) was born in a small town north of Alaska and slightly south of Florida in the mid-20th century. After graduating high school, he was drafted into the CIA, the FBI, the NSA and finally, NBC, where he worked as a Production Assistant was later fired under mysterious circumstances following many reports of large fires and flying turkeys in Rockefeller Center. Feeling that he would enjoy a more fulfilling career, he changed his name, appearance and date of birth, moved to Memphis, Tennessee and became a writer. He is now a member of the local Memphis Area Word Catchers and, it is speculated, the Witness Protection Program. He also does freelance spy work when asked politely.
