"Num" was born in the city of Memphis, TN during the last few months of the seventies. Having been lovingly raised by old TV shows such as Taxi, The Monkees, I Dream of Jeanie, MacGyver and the A-Team he developed a quirky sense of how this absurd world should work--there is humor in most everything, and you can get out of any situation if you are just clever enough.

He learned to read early on but never really pursued it as a hobby until, by chance; he impulsively stole a book from a junior high school book fair, a juvenile science fiction novel. Though the story itself has been forgotten, its impact remained.

After a year or two devoted to devouring any sort of science fiction, fantasy, pulp, action, and comedy novel he could get his hands on, he decided his dream job would be to sit around in his underwear while people untold miles away were entertained by his words.

Fifteen years, three nearly-finished novels, a few dozen shorts stories, a large steamer trunk filled with beginnings, one failed NaNoWriMo attempt, one moderately successful NaNo, entirely too many commas and impossibly long, convoluted, grammatically-incorrect sentences... have all culminated in a casual--hopefully friendly--and accessible writing style fraught with absurdity and occasionally an original idea.

Aaron Hebewaybe (pronounced Heeb-way-bob) was born in a small town north of Alaska and slightly south of Florida in the mid-20th century. After graduating high school, he was drafted into the CIA, the FBI, the NSA and finally, NBC, where he worked as a Production Assistant was later fired under mysterious circumstances following many reports of large fires and flying turkeys in Rockefeller Center. Feeling that he would enjoy a more fulfilling career, he changed his name, appearance and date of birth, moved to Memphis, Tennessee and became a writer. He is now a member of the local Memphis Area Word Catchers and, it is speculated, the Witness Protection Program. He also does freelance spy work when asked politely.
