Kara Ferguson
was born and raised in Memphis,
TN by extremely liberal parents.
She frequently thanks them for deciding not to name her Starshine. Kara lives
with her husband and their pets and spends her free time watching zombie
movies, and playing Warcraft. She will read anything she can get her hands on.
Unfortunately
Kara doesn't actually have a lot of free time because she's pursuing a degree in
art history at The University of Memphis, where she writes long boring papers
about art. She recently achieved senior status and hopes to graduate sometime
before she's thirty. Kara also works full time in the printing industry, and
longs for the day when she can make it through an eight hour shift without a
paper cut.
Kara's writing
career began with angsty teenage poetry, followed by several unsuccessful
attempts at National Novel Writing Month and various unfinished short stories. Kara
recently finished her first short story, which her husband refused to finish
reading because, "it was too depressing." It wasn't even about zombies.

Aaron Hebewaybe (pronounced Heeb-way-bob) was born in a small town north of Alaska and slightly south of Florida in the mid-20th century. After graduating high school, he was drafted into the CIA, the FBI, the NSA and finally, NBC, where he worked as a Production Assistant was later fired under mysterious circumstances following many reports of large fires and flying turkeys in Rockefeller Center. Feeling that he would enjoy a more fulfilling career, he changed his name, appearance and date of birth, moved to Memphis, Tennessee and became a writer. He is now a member of the local Memphis Area Word Catchers and, it is speculated, the Witness Protection Program. He also does freelance spy work when asked politely.
